The Mighty Stubborn Indigo Soul
Indigo terminology is becoming more popular as our World becomes more complicated.
More and more of these unique and gifted Souls are reincarnating into the new age of Aquarius that began several years ago.
Ancient astrologers thought of Aquarius as ‘the sign of all things that are newly invented’. This is why this sign – the Age Of Aquarius – is linked so strongly to technology.
Aquarius is also an air sign and therefore highly communicative, bent on gathering information which echoes what is coming towards us.
Aquarius has a strong need for independence and individualism, originality and inventiveness.
Aquarius is visionary and creative, but rebellious too. Aquarius’ job is to challenge authority, tear down existing structures and replace the outdated, perfect tasks for the Indigo Soul.
There is nothing ordinary about an Indigo, they are born with fire in their bellies and as stubborn as the bull to back them up.
Indigos march to a different beat, their drum is nothing like the ‘other’ masses, they are one of the most humanitarian type humans, they see social wrongs and move to right them.
Their work is through mobilizing groups into action with their altruistic and democratic Spirit.
Indigos posses special, unusual and sometimes supernatural traits or abilities, they are, after all the next stage in human evolution.
The term Indigo originated in the 1970’s, the work of Nancy Ann Tappe first introduced the concept of ‘life colours’, she published books about the colour of the human aura. Tape stated that she began to notice children with indigo auras in the 1960’s.
Descriptions of Indigo people include they are empathetic, curious, and strong-willed.
They are often perceived by friends and family as being strange, they possess a clear sense of self-definition and purpose.
They show a strong innate subconscious spiritually from early childhood, they have a strong feeling of entitlement or deserving to be here.
They often have high intelligence and inherent intuitive ability, their resistance to rigid, control-based paradigms of authority often get them into trouble and cause them grief (on many levels).
If you yourself feel you are an Indigo, or if you know of someone who may be, perhaps your own child or a sibling, please read the ‘The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived’, written by Lee Carroll, it is a great source of information and provides answers to questions I am sure you have been asking yourself, I am so glad I read it.
Indigos are gifts to be treasured without a doubt, they are so terribly misunderstood, more awareness needs to come to the forefront for these unique humans so we don’t mess up and miss out on why they are here.
We need their help more now than ever.
Much love and devotion
Annanda
