Snap, Crackle Pop And It Isn’t Rice (Part One)
We, humans, love to make things complicated, the more we are able to mess things up with our blatant free will, somehow the better we feel, so my aim is to try to change the way You think. Our physical bodies as we know is a complex appliance with many parts, each with a definite function and together those assembled components perform a particular task, which simply is to keep us alive. However there are elements of who we are which we can’t see or touch, and as much as we humans like to indulge in the practical and scientific systematic behaviours of ourself, we shouldn’t ignore that which we are unable to scent, glimpse, or grasp, and yet that is exactly what we do and we do it well. Our physical vessel best works when we take good care of it, we need it for many reasons, but the most important reason of all is the fact that it is a dwelling for our Soul, which we invited to live with us under contract, sort of speak. But there is someone else that lives with us, an unwanted guest and one that we would love to evict if we only knew how. Mr. (or Mrs.) Ego invited them self when we were about 5 years old, so the Psychoanalysis legal Deed to our vessel says (the one we didn’t want to sign by the way). Unwanted simply because it causes us a lot of grief and can be a real pain in the ass most days, his (her) name is Ego and it is ignorantly unconscious. Our Soul, on the other hand, knows what is good for us and always has our best interest in mind, but we most often choose to hang our with Ego instead of Soul, which is why our life can get so complicated at times, after all our life is a product of the company we keep. Ego likes to think he is the CEO of our complex machine, on the other hand, Soul is happy just trying to keep everyone else happy. There are times when they end up quarreling, Soul has a lot of patience, but occasionally it runs out. Ego puts up a good fight, he knows all the tricks, so most often Soul backs down and things go back to being run by Ego’s rules again. When the two of them fight Physical Vessel gets the brunt of it and starts to suffer from the symptoms of the internal arguments. The good thing is Physical Vessel eventually begins to question the integrity of the CEO in charge and slowly but surely things begin to shift in his way of thinking. Physical Vessel decides to embark on a new journey, he starts to question the way things are being taken care of and he becomes more aware of Ego and his evil doings.
Check in tomorrow for the rest of the story.
Much love and devotion
